Read To Me https://www.readtomeintl.org/ is a website that is devoted to improving children’s literacy. Read to me website's mission is to improve the love and joy of reading aloud to children. It addresses the literacy needs of children and for educators, parents, and communities to realize the importance of reading aloud to children as a simple but effective way of raising children who value and love reading.

This website introduces a program called Read to Me International that promotes reading aloud to children. They provide parent coaching programs, presentations and workshops, read aloud gathering at schools and communities, and support for parents of young children living in transitional housing in Hawaii. The goal of this program is to ensure that every child is ready every day, model good read aloud techniques, and promote reading aloud to a broader audience of stakeholders. This website also introduces the importance of reading aloud that it nurtures a child’s sense of security and worth. It creates a bond between the readers and the child, helps to develop vocabulary, oral language skills, fluency and a positive attitude toward learning.

In addition, this website provides read aloud tips for educators and parents; like take ten minutes every day to read aloud to our child, schedule a time each day and find a reading place, let your child choose the book, show the cover of the books and introduce the author and illustration and many more. It also provides reading aloud techniques that parents and educators can use. For example, move your finger under the words as you read, let your child turn the pages, act out the characters with your voice as you read, take turns reading words, sentences, or whole pages, and others. Therefore, this website is very effective when you are teaching children at the age of three.
