Final Self-Reflection
As the course ED638 ends, I found myself enjoying everything that given in this course. I think back to the first time that I read the course syllabus, and looked through the assignments; I got worried about the workload. The four weeks of learning, submitting assignments and sharing enhanced my knowledge in using internet sources to teach my students. Before the midterm, some of my assignments got overdue due to the holiday activities, but I never stop working to submit my works on time. I admit that there were times that I stayed up all night trying to finish my assignments because of family activities and other matters. However, this is not the end of this program but still I completed everything that in this course.
There are times that I feel exhausted from the workload in this course but I keep telling myself that is for my own good. Sometimes I have struggled to check my assignments because of the poor internet connection. I always tried to participate in the forums and the submission of the assignments. I can say that I actively check my Moodle account because I know that the duration of this term is only four weeks. As for the submission of my assignments, I always try to submit my work on time and always read feedback.
In addition, the workload and duration for this course are short but still, I learned several things that improve my knowledge in teaching using several internet sources. I learn many effective literacy websites that I can implement in my current classroom and internet tools. Another interesting thing that I learn is writing a Geo-narrative lesson plan. I have never used this before but I will implement this lesson in my classroom this school year. However, I learn many things from this class and I will implement it in my classroom because I know that it will improve my students' learning.
