            For my fifth effective literacy website, I have chosen All Things Topics (https://www.allthingstopics.com/.) This website was something that I came across as I was searching for reading material for a student who has completed their assignment.
            Just some background information on the website, it is run by a Canadian ESL Educator named Robert. His background in ESL Education is extensive with experience teaching in various countries and learning different languages.
            All Things Topics is a website that contains ESL Worksheets and videos from any topic. Upon visiting the website, its layout is simple and you can start your search of worksheets on the left side of the website. Aside from free downloadable worksheets, the website also offers audios and videos to accompany the worksheets. There are a few lesson plans and activities as well offered on the various topics.
            To review one of the worksheets that I have used, it contained a reading handout, a set of questions to check for comprehension and a writing activity. As I look through some of the other materials, I am sure that I will find other materials that would fit something in my classes. The website is very diverse as with its name “All Things Topics” and it lives up to it. 
            Overall, this website is useful as it contains a wide variety of ESL literacy worksheets and resources on various topics. The website can use a little clean up as things are all over the place. Despite the case, I would still recommend this as place for teachers to check out if they are in need of resources.

  For an intercession class, the number of assignments was what I expected. I was worried with both the number of assignments and the time frame of the class. I did end up panicking a bit, but as soon as I organized the assignments, I noticed that the assignments were not as overwhelming as I thought. The very first thing that I learned from this class is that a different perspective will help. In this case, when I listed down the assignments and categorized them into forums and assignments with due dates, I was able to calm down.   International Literacy Association (ILA) Newsletter Weekly Project:  Effective Literacy Website #6 Reading Bear is a free online literacy program. It is a non-profit project by St. Charles Place Education Foundation. This program focuses on teaching beginning readers vocabulary and concepts. This is done by all the major phonetic patterns of English. On the home page, you will see all these  phonetic patterns displayed. The first section being the first letter sounds readers should learn which are the vowels. When you click into one of the lessons, the first step is to go through the interactive slide/lesson which includes voice clips, videos, and pictures to demonstrate the skill. The first lesson starts off with sounding it out slowly. The next step is to move to the lesson that sounds it out quickly.        Google Slides is one of the internet tools lifesavers for online teaching. During the pandemic, teachers worldwide had to find online tools that they would be using to continue teaching their lessons. I used Google Slides to assign assignments, and I also used it to create my presentations. Google Slides had many benefits, such as editing the presentation from anywhere I am since it is all found in Google Drive. I love how flexible this online tool is because when I am on the go, I can continue working, which allows me not to slow down when it comes to completing my requirements.       As I searched through various tutorials on Google Slides, I saw how it could be used for the students' assignments.
