Storyline Online (https://storylineonline.net) is a website that teachers can use to improve reading comprehension, verbal, and written skills for students of all levels K-12.Reading comprehension is one issue that is ongoing and Story Online just made it easy for to teachers to use to help assess and improve student reading performances. This website is actually free and already used by many people all over the world.

In order to get access to Storyline Online is just so easy. There is no need to register to have an account. This website is totally free and anyone can have access to this website. Once you click on the webpage, it will take you straight to its home page. There the first thing you will see is the Library and a list of the stories. You can see the title of the story and the author and even the illustrator. You pick a story you want to read and then a person will show on a video and with your book you chose, and read it out loud. The video will show a well-known celebrity reading your story. The texts of the book will show on the screen so you can hear and read at the same time. This website is free 24 hours a day for children, teachers, and caregivers. Doctors and nurses actually used this website to entertain their sick young patients.

Storyline Online is created by a non-profit organization called the SAG-AFTRA Foundation and it depends on gifts, grants, and donations to help with its goal. This is a must try to introduce website to use in classroom to have students enjoy reading. I personally enjoyed going thru this website and having a celebrity featuring on the story reading will indeed bring attention to the students.
