Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) Website (www.rif.org) is the largest non-profit children literacy organization in the United States. It provides quality content to make an impact to appoint communities to give every child the fundamentals for success. Reading Is Fundamental maximizes every contribution to ensure all children have the ability to read and success. It also provides resources such as books, STEM-themed classroom activities, and professional development for educators, and parent engagement materials.

There is a significant and cyclical literacy crisis facing America today and it begins with their children. The main purpose for the Website (The Reading Is Fundamental) (www.rif.org) was created in order to help American children that lack in reading. There are twenty-five million children in the U.S. who cannot read proficiently. RIF believes that together they can make a real difference and set their children on a path of growth and opportunity. It enables children to learn, to discover, to grow, to lead and to foster empathy and understanding of others. Furthermore, Literacy opens doors and enables every child the chance to live their own journey. Their goal is to make sure that no child should grow up without knowing how to read.

For over 50 years, RIF has built a legacy grounded on the basis that all children have the right to learn to read. In partnership with volunteers, companies, and community organizations, RIF has distributed more than 420 million books and resources and has impacted the lives of 72 million children nationwide. Reading Is Fundamental encourages reading both inside and outside of school by allowing youngsters to select books to keep at home.
