Internet4Classrooms is an online learning tool available to educators. A feature that I appreciate in Internet4Classrooms is that it has a section Common Core State Standards. When you click into this feature, the standards are divided by content and grade level, so it is easy to find resources that fit the standard you are covering. The content currently available by standard is ELA (English Language Arts) and Mathematics. When clicking into the grade level in these sections, it gives you a breakdown of the different standards for that grade. Once you click the standard you are covering, you’ll find multiple assignments and resources for you to use. 

Another feature on this site is the online practice section. This provides a place for students to practice the skill being taught through online interactive activities. However, this feature is currently only available for math standards/skills. A third notable feature is the Grade Level Help section. In this section, you will each grade divided by ELA and math content which are aligned to CCSS. A bonus tool in this section is that it also includes social studies and science resources per grade. Lastly, there are some assessments available for students to use as practice. Examples being that the site has ACT/ SAT practice test, Algebra tests, and more.

This website has a free trial, and you can also pay for subscription that cost $67 a year for more videos for your students.   International Literacy Association (ILA) Newsletter Weekly Project:  Effective Literacy Website #5 Story Place: The Children’s Digital Learning Library is an online literacy platform that focuses on building literacy for children in Preschool. This site offers digital storybooks that are animated. When you click into one of the stories, you will see a few expansion activities below. There are online activities for children to do as well as hands-on crafting activities that have printable templates for teachers or parents.  Included are videos that relate to concepts or ideas learned in the storybook. These videos are used to expand upon ideas learned in the story. Under each story, there is a reading list that relates to the theme of the story.
